Promet Cargo “started” in November 2007, when two experienced and enthusiastic young people decided to start working on their own account. Magdalena and Maciej Kozłowski were at the beginning of their professional career. Today, we can only remember with emotion an apartment converted into an office, the first customers and employees who have been working in the company until now.
Today we know that this is the best path, that in order to take certain steps, it was necessary to go through the stage of crawling and maturation. Therefore, today, in 2020, Promet Cargo employs over 60 employees. It is a team of experienced drivers, a strong and numerous department of forwarders, dispatchers, warehouse workers, as well as a billing department. All of them work every day for our clients located all over Europe (with an emphasis on Germany, France and the Benelux countries).
Promet Cargo is also a modern office building today, formerly the old, dilapidated railway station in Kunowice, which was purchased in 2013. It is here, on an area of over 1500 m2, that our headquarters are located, as well as the basic logistics and warehouse base. We already know that we could not choose a better place for ourselves than the one where the spirit of transport is still present.
In 2017, we purchased a plot of land located in the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone. This area is a major step in our plans to create the logistics center necessary for our development.

MORE THAN TRANSPORT
From the very beginning, we know and emphasize that the company is not only work.
It is also a group of people with various interests and passions.
It is also a group of people with various interests and passions.
Our hobby from the beginning was a speedway. That is why, since 2015, we have consistently supported the Lublin speedway club – Stal Gorzów.
A few years ago, we also noticed a great talent in the person of the (then) junior – Bartosz Zmarzlik. Outstanding skills, but also the personality of this competitor made us cooperate with him, and today Bartosz is the World Champion in speedway, of which we are extremely proud.
In 2020, we sponsored another talented speedway rider, a Grand Prix participant – Martin Vaculik. We support Martin in his starts during individual speedway competitions.
In the same year, Kamil Brzozowski, a first-league club competitor, joined our speedway “family”.
For us, transport is not only trucks and forklifts; it’s not even just speedway motors. We went a step further and, wanting to create an event that will appear on the sports map of the region, in 2016 we undertook the organization of the Promet Cargo Cross Duathlon running and cycling event.
We managed to conduct three editions of this event (2016, 2017, 2018), each of which gathered an increasing number of players (full starting lists) and gained faithful crowds of fans.
As a company, we also try to be wherever the heart dictates and the financial conditions allow it. That is why we are happy to join local initiatives, especially those aimed at the active development of our youth. For the next year, we support the Promet Keeper Academy by Miro Dębiec for children. We know very well that the passion instilled in youth can develop into the most beautiful adventure in the adult life.
